Katarzyny Kobro z kolekcji Dariusza Bieńkowskiego, która stanie się przestrzenią spotkania czterech wybitnych osobowości świata sztuki: Lewczyńskiego, Bednarskiego, Sawickiej i Rumasa. Ich twórczość, tak różna, a zarazem tak silnie zakorzeniona w ideach nowoczesności i eksperymentu, układa się w fascynujący dialog – pełen napięć, kontrastów, ale i wzajemnych odniesień.To wydarzenie to nie tylko prezentacja dorobku uznanych artystów – to także manifest kontynuacji awangardowego ducha w dzisiejszej rzeczywistości. The second edition of cooperation with the Museum of Art in Łódź – a celebration of the avant-garde and creative dialogue
We are delighted to invite you to a unique artistic event, which is a continuation of our cooperation with the Museum of Art in Łódź – an institution whose history and mission are inextricably linked to the heritage of the avant-garde.
This time we present an exhibition of the winners of the Katarzyna Kobro Award from the Dariusz Bieńkowski collection, which will become a space for the meeting of four outstanding personalities of the art world: Lewczyński, Bednarski, Sawicka and Rumas. Their work, so different and yet so strongly rooted in the ideas of modernity and experiment, forms a fascinating dialogue – full of tensions, contrasts, but also mutual references.
This event is not only a presentation of the achievements of recognized artists – it is also a manifesto of the continuation of the avant-garde spirit in today’s reality. For us, as Vienna House by Wyndham Andel’s Łódź, co-organizing this exhibition is an honor and proof that art can and should be present in the space of everyday life – accessible, alive and inspiring. This is an important event not only for us, but also for the whole of Łódź – a city that has been one of the pillars of artistic exploration in Poland and Europe for decades.
