andel’s Hotel Berlin

andel’s Hotel Berlin is a 580-room hotel in Prenzlauer Berg district, about 20 minutes ride from the center of Berlin. The huge building, designed by Studio Aldo Rossi as a commercial and office center, for many years stood unfinished and empty. British design duo Jestico+Whiles is responsible for the successful conversion of the object into a design hotel. Sky Bar at the top floor of the hotel tower offers awe-inspiring panoramic views of the city’s skyline.

andel’s Hotel Berlin has been distinguished with many awards, including Green Globe Award 2011-2014, VDR hotel certification 2013 – Business & Conference Hotel, and Green Globe Re-Certification 2012-2014. The quality of the hotel’s cuisine has been reflected in numerous distinctions.

The hotel houses pieces by Rivka Rinn, an artist who takes photographs in speeding planes and trains, as well as a video-installation by Dominik Lejman, who combines painting with modern techniques of recording and image projection.
