andel’s Hotel Łódź is a unique place where contemporary Polish art meets extraordinary architecture. A monument of European industrial architecture, the 19th-century mill that belonged to textile magnate Izrael Poznanski has been transformed into a one-of-a-kind hotel. Everything of historical value in the original structure has been left untouched. The process may serve as a perfect example for thoughtful revitalization, when contemporary solutions redefine the old tissue of the building without harming it.

Andel’s Łódź is not only a hotel. It’s also a place of unique aesthetic experience, which regularly hosts contemporary art projects, like the original series of exhibitions ANDEL’S QUARTER and the much more recent ANDEL’S PHOTO, where the works of remarkable young photographers are presented.
